Carpenters Cottage is an eighteenth century brick and flint cottage situated in the delightful rural village of Wighton on the North Norfolk coast. It is conveniently located in the centre of the village adjoining The Carpenters Arms - renowned for its excellent food and warm hospitality.

The Cottage is a true ‘home from home’ frequently used by the owners hence exuding an atmosphere not usually found in a commercial holiday let. It is decorated and furnished with an eclectic mix of the old and new comprising:-

Ground Floor:- living/dining room with wood burning stove, kitchen with direct access to the garden.

First floor:- Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. The bath has mixer taps and a shower spray which can only be used within the bath, double bedroom inter communicating to twin bedroom The cottage is fully equipped with colour tv and VHS recorder, microwave, washing machine, electric cooker, fridge/freezer. Glasses, crockery and cutlery for 4 people.

All bedlinen is supplied and the cottage is cleaned prior to arrival with beds made up. Guests are asked to bring their own towels.

The property benefits from a large, enclosed garden to the rear with views across open fields and off street parking. Please note that there is a small pond in the garden and guests should be aware of the potential danger to children. Immediately outside the kitchen is a patio area with table/chairs and umbrella.

The village of Wighton is situated 3 miles inland from Wells-next-the-Sea and its beautiful white sand beaches and pine woods. It is a great base from which to explore the miles of unspoilt, protected coastline, visit stately homes such as Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall and Sandringham, cycle, walk and birdwatch at sanctuaries such as Scolt Head, Cley and Titchwell. The area also offers plenty of activities for children including steam railways and the Sealife Centre at Hunstanton.
